Bar & Dress Code

Dulwich & Sydenham Hill Golf Club has a fully licensed bar with a variety of beer, wine and spirits

The seating area (indoor and outdoor) overlooks the golf course as well as taking in panoramic views of the London skyline and is a perfect place to finish your day. The bar is open every day except for Christmas.. Please note that hours may alter depending on weather and course conditions and if the course is closed due to adverse weather, the bar may close early.

Members, guests and visitors are required to comply with the following dress regulations.

CLUBHOUSE ATTIRE

Members, guests and visitors are required to comply with the following dress regulations.

19th Bar, TV room and balcony — golf clothing that has clearly suffered from the elements should not be worn anywhere upstairs in the clubhouse. With this exception golfing attire is acceptable upstairs in the 19th bar, TV room and balcony where spikes are allowed as long as they have been cleaned and do not carry detritus. Lounge area — ‘Formal attire’ and ‘smart casual clothing’ are equally acceptable at most times.

Most members are generally aware of what is regarded as ‘smart casual’ and are therefore asked to both follow and respect other members by complying with this. Trainers, flip-flops and tracksuits are not regarded as smart casual and therefore not permitted. ‘Formal attire’, in the lounge area may be required on several specific occasions which will be clearly designated as such.

Clean and dry golf shoes are permitted in the 19th Bar area, but please change your shoes if playing conditions are wet and muddy,.
The Club has full and final authority to determine what is acceptable. Please conform to the required dress standard to avoid embarrassment.
