We aspire to be an integral part of the local community with particular emphasis on children playing golf.
Dulwich & Sydenham Hill Golf Club has maintained strong ties to the local community for many years with our Captain’s Charities alone, raising over £100,000 during the past 10 years. The club closes annually to host a series of days raising money for notable charities supporting community care in the local area and across the United Kingdom.
It is our intention to build upon these initiatives to support our local community and to make the game of golf more accessible.
We have close ties with local schools and regularly provide access to the course and practice facilities for pupils. We host the Sparrow Golf Day, which provides financial and other help to Sparrow Schools in South Africa.
Our Colt membership, provides weekly tuition to children and a pathway to a playing membership via Golf Access and Golf Access+. We offer heavily discount membership to our Juniors (U18) as well as heavily discounted green fees.
More recently, we have hosted the Girls Golf Rocks programme – an initiative to encourage younger females into the game.
